ThinkCERCA partnered with Rippleworks to define how automation can make the jobs of schoolteachers in the U.S. easier
ThinkCERCA offers an online curriculum to students in grades 3-12 to build reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. ThinkCERCA’s expert-designed lessons walk students through the process of analyzing content-rich texts and multimedia to construct cohesive argumentative, informational, or narrative writing.
One of ThinkCERCA’s top priorities going into the project was developing automation features to help teachers do more with less. ThinkCERCA partnered with Rippleworks to lay a foundation to utilize machine learning and natural language processing algorithms to automate feedback for writing assignments.
ThinkCERCA partnered with Peter Monaco, an engineering leader who brought experience from Meta, Yahoo, Xobni, and Microsoft. Together, they:
• Defined and aligned aroundThinkCERCA’s product goals
• Identified the team’s needed capabilities and product roadmap milestones
• Designed experiments to get started on automation
