Come change the world.

And have some fun while you’re at it.

People come to Rippleworks to change the world—it’s a place where you get to bring your full self to work. Passion, optimism, curiosity, collaboration, and creativity—these are some of the qualities that define our culture.

Our team is made up of people with diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and ways of thinking—by leaning into our differences we’re able bring the most value to the ventures we work for.

Rippleworks is a fast-paced and intellectually stimulating workplace, rich with opportunities to learn, grow, and make contributions to meaningful work.

We’re a 40+ person team on a mission to help social ventures thrive. We think Rippleworks is the best place for purpose-driven people to make an outsized difference in the world: learning, growing, and having fun together along the way.

Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) are at the center of our work. It’s a key part of our 2-year goals and shows up every day in the way our team partners and collaborates.

We’re also one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in the World and a Best Workplace for Innovators.

Benefits

1

Don’t take a pay cut to do good in the world

  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and competitive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and short- and long-term disability insurance; employer matched 401K; parking and commuter allowance; unlimited PTO; wellness/self-care stipends; home office set-up stipend; and more.

“Having the opportunity to reenter the social impact sector without sacrificing the ability to support my family was a pretty big deal for me. Rippleworks eliminates the financial tradeoffs that often make a social impact career inaccessible. Joining the organization was a no-brainer.”  Cecy Venegas, Sr Director, Venture Systems & Data

2

Travel the world

  • Everyone at Rippleworks has the opportunity for at least one international working trip per year to see our impact in the field.
  • Our Study Abroad program funds personal learning experiences abroad for employees to better understand the different geographies, cultures, and sectors we support.
  • Our No Place Like Home policy encourages employees to take a day off after Rippleworks-related travel to catch up on sleep, do some laundry, or spend some extra time with your family.

“The opportunity to meet leaders and teams around the world—to grab coffee with them in their office kitchens or share a beer after work—helps me feel connected to their lives and missions. It’s a reminder of why I love showing up to Rippleworks every day.” — Lindsay Blodgett, Managing Director of Leaders Studio

3

A learning culture that values professional and personal growth

  • We provide an external professional coach for every team member who wants one and a learning budget to put towards professional development.
  • We hold quarterly on-sites with team building activities, regular celebrations, and spontaneous dance parties on Zoom. You can expect to have ongoing learning and growth conversations with your manager, and internal mobility is something we prioritize and celebrate.

“We have so many opportunities to invest in ourselves and learn as an organization through programs like Embracing Equity—and leadership is right there with us. People are so quick to share resources, information, and knowledge, and everyone at the organization has something to contribute. It’s in the DNA of the organization.” — Kotheid Nicoue, Leaders Studio Manager

4

The beginning of your lifelong journey to give back

  • Through our Community Grants program, employees have the opportunity to give $50 thousand grants to local community nonprofits doing meaningful work in an area that the employee is passionate about. We also provide $2,500 charitable donation match for financial and volunteer hour contributions.

“Participating in Community Grants gave me space to think about and understand the challenges of people around me who are struggling. To be able to give resources well beyond my personal means to an organization that I really cared about was incredibly meaningful.” — Ayesha Wagle, Managing Director of Capital
