Varaha partnered with Rippleworks to design an automated system for validating crop residue incorporation.
Varaha incentivizes farmers who follow regenerative agriculture practices by creating and certifying high quality, nature-based credits and selling those credits to companies with net-zero targets. Varaha offers end-to-end assistance by being a one-stop destination for the creation, quantification, verification, & sale of high-quality carbon-credits. Each project is vetted through advanced remote sensing analytics and carbon modeling to ensure every investment results in carbon removal and creates an additional income source for the smallholders.
One of Varaha’s top priorities going into this project was designing an automated system that allows them to validate and monitor crop residue incorporation.
