Polaris partnered with Rippleworks to build a CTO profile and hiring roadmap
Polaris is leading the global fight to eradicate modern slavery by equipping communities to identify and report on human trafficking. Polaris is the largest prominent anti-trafficking entity, with 3,000 non-profit partners, 40 corporate relationships, and has served 50,000 victims and survivors.
As Polaris prepared for its next phase of growth, their top priority was hiring the right CTO to lead its technology teams. Polaris partnered with Rippleworks to build a CTO profile and hiring roadmap.
Polaris teamed with Rippleworks CTO Rick Levenson, who has built technology teams as a senior engineering executive at companies such as Microsoft, TellMe, Polycom, and Kiva. Together, they:
• Evaluated Polaris’ current and future hotline and data needs, as well as its organizational capabilities
• Built a candidate profile with a clear job description; interview process; and interview questions, including technical exercises
• Identified a slate of promising candidates
• Designed a 100-day plan for successfully onboarding and integrating the new CTO
