Noora Health partnered with Rippleworks to monitor, maintain, and improve the quality of their service at scale

Noora Health trains marginalized families of patients with high-impact health skills to improve outcomes and save lives. By training families with simple, low-risk skills, Noora Health enables families to provide high quality care in the hospital and at home. Since launching in 2014, Noora Health has trained over 200,000 family members representing 50,000 patients, leading to a 24 percent reduction in re-admissions and a 71 percent reduction in serious complications.

Noora Health’s top priority was monitoring, maintaining, and improving the quality of Noora Health’s service at scale. Noora Health partnered with Rippleworks to create a scalable strategy to monitor and ensure the quality of service delivery at partner hospitals.

Noora Health teamed with Rippleworks Expert Mark Angelo, who is the CEO of LMC Healthcare, Canada’s largest specialist care provider in diabetes and endocrinology. Together, they:

• Learned best practices for overseeing a quality management program and quality measurement system and process

• Defined reach and engagement KPIs for Noora’s quality audit tool

• Assessed Noora’s quality audit tool for areas of improvement among metrics, collection method, and frequency of collection

• Planned strategy and roadmap for launching pilot of improved quality audit tool
