Medsaf is a one-stop-shop, tech-enabled supply chain solution for medical facilities, including hospitals, pharmacies, and clinics in Nigeria. Medsaf curates medications based upon market demand and provides transparent, affordable medications and reliable access to their customers, aiming to deliver orders within 48-72 hours.
One of Medsaf’s top priorities going into the project was developing data capabilities to mitigate the effects of market volatility. Medsaf partnered with Rippleworks to design a data architecture and data systems for scale.
Medsaf partnered with Julius Bogdan, a technologist and healthcare executive who spent decades leading teams and building systems at HIMSS, SCL Health, and Microsoft. Together, they:

• Defined business use cases and tech requirements for new data architecture; reviewed current data team structure and capabilities

• Identifed and evaluated data warehouses and tools for future architecture
