Managing at Your Best

Leading with intention and purpose as a rising leader

New people managers play a critical role in their organization’s success. Transitioning from performing tasks independently to managing people is hard. This program supports new and rising people managers in developing the mindset, emotional intelligence, and critical managerial skills needed to become effective leaders.

Specifically, they will:

  • Learn to build a trusted and safe environment for their teams to show up authentically
  • Hone skills in providing actionable feedback to enhance their team’s performance
  • Learn to coach team members to reach their full potential
  • Explore approaches to guide team members to improve their performance
  • Gain access to a network of leaders across sectors and functional areas from around the world

This program will be offered in English (Zoom automated captions available in 35 languages).

Who Should Attend:

People managers who:

  • Have been in a people management role for less than 2 years
  • Manage one or more people
  • Can devote the time to learn and grow with peers across the globe

We recommend that two leaders from an organization participate together. Participating with a colleague fosters accountability and thought partnership, making it easier to share learnings across an organization.

What Leaders Have Said

“The most valuable aspect for me is to have had the time and space to think about leadership instead of simply acting upon it. Taking time to reflect in a more structured, strategic, and intentional way about how I lead and who I lead is, to me, the most important takeaway.”

– Managing at Your Best Alumni

“I really like how this program is very global. It was nice to be able to learn from people outside of the usual workplace and social group. It truly adds perspective in this fast-paced globalized world.”
