Embracing Equity partnered with Rippleworks to create systems-change in the U.S. education sector

Embracing Equity cultivates the mindsets and practices necessary to create an affirming, inclusive, and equitable educational ecosystem. They envision a just society where all children are affirmed in their whole humanity and nurtured to their fullest potential.

One of Embracing Equity’s top priorities going into the project was cultivating institutional partners like schools, districts, teacher training programs, and universities. Embracing Equity partnered with Rippleworks to set themselves up for B2B sales with a new go-to-market strategy and a refined sales process.

Embracing Equity partnered with Elfreda Massie, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in K-12 education policy who lead teams at Class, the National Center on Education and the Economy, and Blackboard inc. Together, they:

• Defined Embracing Equity’s customer segments; built an understanding of core audiences, their needs, and pain points; interviewed current customers and stakeholders for additional insights; identified key target segments

• Developed a unique value proposition; built an understanding of the competitive landscape; developed value propositions for key segments test and sourced feedback from key stakeholders

• Outlined next steps for developing a sales process; reviewed Embracing Equity’s current sales process and customer journey; identified areas of improvement; created a 3-6 month plan action plan to implement new sales process
